Francis Cotes (1725-1770). Pastel on card. Portrait of Susanna Gordrey. The half-length portrait depicts Susanna in 3/4 pose, wearing a champaign-coloured silk gown, with pale blue shawl. At bodice, a pink stone brooch. Additionally, she is wearing a pearl choker, large drop pearl earrings, and her brown hair dressed with a strand of pearls. Oval, 56 cms. X 42 cms. (22 inches X 17 inches). Gilt frame.

Andrew Plimer, c.1800. A rare double portrait, obviously of a husband and wife. The husband and wife are in 3/4 pose, angled toward each other. Both initialled to the obverse with "AP". These truly remarkable portraits are in-untouched condition; the ivory discs, convex glazing, verre eglomise insets, brass surrounds, and papier mache frame, all in original condition. Each oval portrait, 5 cms. (2 inches) diameter. The portraits are handsome subjects and in excellent condition.

Portrait of a gentleman with dark curling hair, a beard, and blue eyes, wearing a white shirt with brown jabot, black patterned waistcoat with white buttons, and a charcoal coat. He wears a gilt stick pin in the jabot, and 2 gold rings on his right right hand. The background is trees and bright blue sky. Rectangular, 39 cms. X 30 cms. (15 inches X 11 inches).

American primitive school. Oil on canvas. An amazing historic document in the form of a portrait of an African-American share-cropper. The 19th Century portrait, which is in very good condition, was quite incredibly found in a barn in Maine. The portrait depicts a woman, standing by a cabin, in a vividly painted landscape, reminescent of Western North Carolina, with crops, a cabin, mountains, and a sunset beyond. Portrait of a gentleman, c. 1730. The portrait depicts the powdered and bewigged gentleman, wearing a yellow embroidered waist coat, and white stock, under a brown coat. Portrait set in 9K gold case, surrounded by foil-backed paste stones. Glazed reverse set with cream fabric. Oval, 6 cms. X 4 cms. (2 Ľ inches x 1 7/8 inches).
