An historically important double portrait of the brothers, John Henry Garstin and E. C. Garstin. 19th Century (c. 1840) English School. Water color on card. Portrait of a girl, with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a white dress with pale blue waistband and coral necklace. Rectangular papier-mache frame with embossed brass slip. The miniature, oval, 12 1/2 cms. X 9 1/2 cms. (4 3/4 inches X 3 3/4 inches). Very pretty child with portrait in above average condition. Papier-mache frame also good conditon. A nice, decorative portrait.
