English School, early 19th Century, water color on ivory, portrait miniature of a young gentleman. The head-and-shoulders portrait depicts the gentleman, with brown hair and large brown eyes, facing left, wearing.s a dark coat over a white cravat. Against a cloud background. Brass slip with black papier mache frame. Oval, 6 cms. diameter (2 1/2 inches). Very good conditon.
